Collistar S.O.S Critical Areas Firming Stick
Many weird and wonderful beauty products land on my desk, and this falls into that category, and then some – meet the Collistar SOS Critical Areas Firming Stick. The what? Yes, I know, I felt the same when I opened the parcel and first saw it.
From Italian breauty brand Collistar, this, it claims, is the ‘lazy girl’s answer to a firmer body‘. A personal trainer in a stick, perhaps? No need to do squats or lunges anymore?
I’m not so sure that’s the case – a little stick of product is not a miracle, remember, but if you love a beauty gimmick, then this one might be for you.
This stick targets those ‘problem’ areas – the areas you want to tone the most, but are the most difficult to work on. So, that’s the arms, stomach, and bum.
Whilst hard work is the best answer for toning up these areas, one sweep of this stick, twice a day for 15-20 days and you will notice a different, Collistar says.
So, how does it work? It contains three key ingredients. Something called Actigym mimics the effect of a muscle endurance exercise, stimulating the release of adiponectin, a protein found in the fatty tissue that improves the metabolism of the muscle fibres. Lipolytic and caffeine help to drain all the toxins, and equisetum extract is where the firming comes from.
Many cellulite treatments are essentially caffeine, so we’re not sure how this differs – and the reality is it probably doesn’t. But, the ease of use in the deodorant-style stick form is a USP.
It’s available from online beauty retailer Feelunique, and costs £26.42.
