Bobbi Brown open Edinburgh free-standing store

BOBBI BROWN fans get down to Edinburgh’s George Street and into the newly opened Bobbi Brown studio! It’s the second free-standing Bobbi store in Scotland, and you are going to love it!

The fab space has everything Bobbi you could ever need! Sometimes it’s hard to believe that the brand began life in 1991 with an edited collection of 10 lipsticks!

From those ten lippies, a massive global brand has grown, and it’s probably one of the best, most wearable, all-encompassing beauty brands around. You won’t find massive trend-led bold bright colours, you won’t find fads, and you won’t find gimmicky products. What you will find is good, wearable makeup for every woman. Bobbi’s hashtag #BeWhoYouAre extolls the brand virtues of making the most of YOU – not trying to be someone else.

The new shop gives you the freedom to have exactly the shopping experience you want. So, you can join others at the artistry table and exchange tips and ideas, you can watch a video of Bobbi’s seasonal inspirations and how-to’s, you can choose from a menu of specialised services, or you can just pop in, grab your favourite lipstick, and go!

Oh yeah, and you can have fun playing in the photo booth like we did at the press event!

The lovely space has  private make up area at the back, which is ideal for customers who want a more intimate, one-on-one experience. It can also be utilised for small events and makeup parties. It has a Brow Chair as well, perfect for anyone wanting to experience the new Brow Shape Service in private – this service is £17 and the fee is redeemable against products on the day of the service.

There’s good news for makeup artists too – Bobbi Brown Pro, a nationwide paid-for membership programme that entitles makeup artists to special benefits, is now available at the Edinburgh store. That means discounts on lots of Bobbi’s hero products, including Skin Foundation Stick, Creamy Concealer, Gel Eyeliner, and more. You pay £25 a year to join, and get 35% off.

Skincare is another big part of the Bobbi Brown brand, and the products are good. I wouldn’t probably go here for skincare in the first instance, but the products I have tried, I’ve enjoyed, and I am a big fan of the handcream.
