Kiko Milano Trend Collection - and Store News
Italian beauty brand KIKO MILANO has started appearing everywhere of late. They’ve been around since 1997, and have over 700 stores worldwide, but only launched fully into Scotland at the tail end of last year with their first stand-alone store in Glasgow’s Fort Shopping Centre.
The brand is now set to open its second store in Scotland next week, this time in Glasgow’s Buchanan Street, right in the city centre. Doors will open at 11am on May 26, and the first 50 customers will receive a KIKO gift card. And the first 200 people to make a purchase will also take home a cute little goodie bag.
The latest KIKO offering is the Trend Collection designed by futurist designer, Ross Lovegrove. Inspired by a desire to travel and explore, and all the glories you see on those travels, the packaging of this collection sets it apart – it’s just lovely.
Gorgeous rose gold compacts house some great powder products. There are moisturising lip products, brilliant eye colours, and fabulous tools. And a cute clutch bag to keep it all in. Oh, and fragrance too.
KIKO kind of does everything, and it’s not expensive. It’s a beauty bloggers magnet store, and they give you baskets to fill – what’s not to love. The products themselves are what they are for the price. I do love their Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks (£9.90), a bit, fat, chunky pencil, that comes with its own sharpener. It has a semi-matte finish, and comes in six shades.
Another product I like is the Heatwave Lip Oil (£10.90). In three shades, it’s nourishing, and bright. The In The Shade Eyeshadow & Kajal Sticks (£9.90) are also a favourite – I love beauty products that have that ease of use about them, and these certainly do. They come in six shade duos, and on one side they’re a great creamy shadow, and the other a soft kajal, perfect for the waterline.
