Philip Treacy for MAC
Top milliner Philip Treacy has created a simple, yet powerful beauty collection with MAC. Complementing three amazing headwear creations, the make up collection consists of bright colours, and strong lines.
The focus is on eyes and lips, and a simple highlighting of the face. The key items are three gorgeous bold Lipsticks (£15.50), three amazing colours of Fluidline (£15.50), and two lovely Highlighting Powders (£23).
This collaboration brings together one of the UK’s leading couture hat designers with, arguably, the world’s boldest makeup brand.
Treacy went back through his amazing career portfolio and took inspiration from his past work to create the trio of sensational headpieces that showcase the structure of the face. The products, paired with each hat, enhance the face’s most evocative features.
The three brilliantly bold Lipstick shades are No Faux Pas (a yellow hot pink matte), Cardinal (a yellow burgundy red satin ) and Hollywood Cerise (a magenta berry satin).
There are three brilliant Fluidline shades, and two Pro Longwear Paint Pots that work with this collection. Chrome Angel and Blacktrack are permaments, whilst Royal Wink, a bright ink blue, Blue Peep, a bright flat teal, in Fluidline, and Genuine Treasure, a reflects antique gold, in Pro Longwear, are Limited Edition.
The Highlight Powder, beautifully designed, comes in two shades – Nude Pink, a champagne base with silver, and Blush Pink, a light pink with silver. I love this highlighter; simply sweep it on to accentuate, contour and highlight.
