First, there was the POREfessional Pore Primer, then came POREfessional Pearl Primer, and now Benefit is introducing the POREfessional Hydrate Primer.
This one has two new key ingredients – and they are both beauty stalwarts – Hyaluronic Acid, and Shea Butter.
Basically, this is the POREfessional original primer, ramped up with ingredients that will hydrate, but in a way that it can be used for oily or dry skin. I’ve always had an issue with primers because my skin has never been oily. I’d rather just use a little facial oil, to be honest, but it will be interesting to see if this primer really can deliver all the qualities of a good primer, and that extra hydration my kind of skin needs.
A primer basically helps to minimise the look of pores and fine lines and helps makeup stay put. It’s the last step in the skincare routine before the makeup application, but it’s one I have to confess to missing out.
Benefit’s POREfessional range boasts a whole host of massively popular products, and this is bound to join them. One thing I do absolutely love about it is the packaging design! How super cute is that? Benefit continues to hit the mark with product packaging design.
The POREfessional Hydrate Primer, £29, is available at benefitcosmetics.co.uk and at counters from January 2020
