Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation gets a makeover

Apparently, you complained, and Bobbi Brown listened! The best-selling Intensive Skin Serum Foundation has been given a makeover in the shape of a packaging change.

Customers wanted an easy-to-use pump, and that’s what they now have! The newly re-packaged Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF40 now features a super-easy pump to ensure that you always get just the right does of foundation, meaning you get the right dose of radiance, moisture and anti-ageing protection.

The foundation originally launched back in 2015, and we wrote about it on the blog – you can read that post here. At the time it was revolutionary for Bobbi Brown, having all the skincare benefits, inspired by Chinese medicine. It utilises Cordyceps Mushroom, a powerful tonic used in traditional Chinese medicine, alongside Bamboo Grass Extract for radiance, clarity and luminosity, and Lychee Extract for hydration, helped by Watermelon and Apple extracts too. It is a lovely foundation – it works with your skintone and gives a radiant finish.

It used to have a dropper, but it now has a much easier pump. The bottle is glass, but I do still worry about the big beauty brands, and the lack of awareness when it comes to recycling packaging.

The foundation was originally available in 16 shades but now comes in 23 Undertone-True shades. They are Alabaster, Porcelain, Warm Porcelain, Cool Ivory, Ivory, Warm Ivory, Cool Sand, Sand, Warm Sand, Beige, Warm Beige, Natural, Natural Tan, Warm Natural, Golden, Honey, Warm Honey, Almond Warm Almond, Walnut, Warm Walnut, Chestnut, and Espresso.
