NEW L'Occitane Cleansers

2 min read

L’Occitane has a whole new cleansing range out this month, with pretty much every type of cleanser, for every occasion, and every skin type covered.

All of the new cleansing range products are infused with extracts of fruits and vegetables from Provence or the south of France, chosen for their specific skincare benefits. Broken into three categories there are Refreshing, Moisturising and Comforting Cleansers.

REFRESHING

Infused with cucumber, known for refreshing properties, and thyme, rich in zinc, known to help reduce blemishes, there’s the 3-in-1 Micellar Water (£19 200ml), perfect for removing even waterproof make-up and impurities from the face, eyelids and lips. Simply wipe over the skin with a cotton pad to leave it feeling invigorated, softer and moisturised.

Also in this range, is the Gel-To-Foam Cleanser (£19 200ml) which, when mixed with water, the Gel-to-Foam transforms into a soft foam that gently cleanses, removes impurities and make-up.

MOISTURISING

The  Cleansing Milk, Cream-to-Foam and Face Soap are infused with organic fig and honey from Provence, and all three products have a fruity scent with delicate hints of honey. Fig is known for its soothing properties, while honey has long been famed for its soothing and protective benefits.

The Face Soap (£15, NOT PICTURED)  is formulated without a single drop of palm oil. Just add a little water and see it transform from a solid pink soap into a soft, white, creamy lather that cleanses and leaves skin feeling soft.

The Cream-To-Foam (£19 125ml) starts off as a creamy milk, then transforms into a soft foam on contact with water. It gently cleanses, removing impurities and traces of make-up, leaving skin super-soft. The Cleansing Milk (£19 200ml) is a rich and creamy cleanser that will remove even stubborn and waterproof makeup. It has a silky smooth texture and rids skin of all impurities and makeup.

COMFORTING

The Oil-to-Milk and Eyes & Lips Bi-Phasic make-up removers are infused with immortelle and calendula from the south of France. Immortelle – the flower that never fades – has been known for years for its skin benefits and is one of our star ingredients. Calendula, meanwhile, is known for its soothing properties. These are my favourites in the new cleansing range.

The Oil-To-Milk (£19 200ml) transforms from a silky smooth oil into a milky emulsion when it comes into contact with water. it is that classic ‘gentle on skin, tough on makeup and more’ type of cleanser.  The Eyes and Lips Bi-Phasic (£19 100ml) is super gentle on both and really does remove everything brilliantly, without irritating the eyes at all. Love it.

All of the new L’Occitane Cleansers are available in stores, and at loccitane.co.uk from July.
