Tom Ford's Emotionproof Eye Colour
If it’s Tom Ford, it’s not waterproof, it’s emotionproof. To add to the Emotionproof Mascara, there’s now Emotionproof Eye Color and Emotionproof Liner.
I’ve not tried any of this collection, but it’s supposed to last wherever your day or night takes you – that means this makeup is high endurance, and long-lasting, and, of course, water-resistant.
I do love the clever idea of emotionproof. The liner and eye colour combine in 22 shades in a variety of finishes, including satin, metallic and – wait for it – glistening. Yes, I like that too, Mr Ford, very clever.
The new Emotionproof Liner (£32) comes in 12 shades – each of them designed to complement the new eye colours. There’s creamy Dominateur’s jet-black stare, the chic slate of Motocyclette, and reflective precious metals, like golden Gigolo, and bronzed Byzantine. This intensely pigmented gives a glamorous swipe of colour, without smudging, transferring, or disappearing in the humidity. The easy-to-use, retractable design features a convenient built-in sharpener, which we like!
The Eye Color (£32) comes in 10 shades, in creamy, satin-to-metallic finishes, all designed to be universally flattering to all skin tones, in effortlessly chic nudes and mauves. These are lovely summer shadows, and this is one of TF’s most innovative formulas yet. It’s blendable, buildable, and creamy and is water and smudge-resistant, won’t cake, won’t flakem and won’t crease. I’ve not tried it, so I can’t vouch for it, but if it delivers on all of this, it’s pretty good!
