New from NARS

NARS is one of my favourite brands- its Orgasm blusher is hands-down the best ever. Once you have used it, you will never buy another blusher ever again, trust me!

The brand launches two new products this weekend – the Natural Radiant Longwear Cushion Foundation SPF50 PA+++ (£25), and the Metal Cream Multi-Use Palette Make A Scene (£36).

Let’s look at the gorgeous palette first. It’s exclusive to NARS boutiques, and online at narscosmetics.co.uk, and is just fab.  It’s multi-use, because you can apply it to eyes, cheeks and body – anywhere you like really.

The formula is a versatile, cream formula, which can be subtle, or layered up for greater impact. It’s so easy to use, so perfect for taking to festivals, or on holiday. The brilliant palette has six bright and bold shades that complement each other.

These multi-use creams are in a soft-foil finish, and the effect is showstopping. It’s like art in a palette – just have fun with it!  Amp it up, play it down, just play around.

The shades are Whip It, a deep metallic emerald, Keep Talking, a metallic burgundy, Superfly, metallic silver, Last Shot, metallic yellow-gold, Rising Sun, metallic copper, and Hard Love, a black with silver shimmer.

Nex up is the foundation compact. The Longwear foundation is excellent, so this is it, basically, in compact form. It helps shield the skin from sun and pollutions, as well as brightening the complexion and giving your skin a lovely full coverage that will last up to 16 hours.

It shields the skin from the harmful effects of UVA/UVB rays, while preventing dark spots, discoloration, and dullness, and includes includes White Water Lily Extract that provides resilience to skin against environmental stressors. There are flexible, lightweight polymers and moisturizing polymer powders in there that help to revive a natural radiant look each time you apply, and an exclusive blend of raspberry, apple and watermelon to helps support skin elastic fibers to smooth and improve skin’s texture over time.

It come in seven shades – Seoul, for fair skin with pink undertones, Mont Blanc for fair skin with neutral undertones, Deauville, for light skin with golden undertones, Samcheong, for light skin with pink undertones, Vienna, for light skin with peach undertones, Punjab, for medium skin with yellow undertones, and Barcelona, for medium skin with subtle peach undertones.

If you love a compact foundation, then this is for you. It will give you more than just good coverage – it feeds the skin, and actually improves and nourishes it with each use.

Both new products are available from June 15.
