Bobbi Brown Double Crush Crushed Liquid Lips

4 min read

Imagine getting to create a lipgloss with Bobbi Brown? That’s what these four lucky, mega-influencers did – how fab is that?

To highlight Crushed Liquid Lip’s liquid balm formula, and make it more crush-worthy, Bobbi Brown asked beauty influencers and their BFF ‘girl crushes’ to develop their dream shades of Crushed Liquid Lip.

Each pair of BFFs personally crafted their shades that were cohesive to one another but felt individual to their own style at the same time.

So, there are two London-based infulencers, Samantha Maria, and Tasha Green. I am not going to pretend I have a clue who either one of them are – I’m not a huge Youtube fan.

Samantha created Hush Hush, and describes it as ‘a lustrous vampy shade that gives you a juicy, bitten lip’.

Tasha created Ambre‘my shade was inspired by that classic 90s brown lip’ she stated of her creation.

Over in the USA, two influencer BFFs created two different, yet complementary shades. I have to admit to also not having a clue who either of these two are!

West Coast Bae was created by LA-based influencer and actress, Teni Panosain, saying ‘I wanted to create a deep, warm nude’.

It’s finally here!! You may have already seen this mug in @Sephora stores, but I’m so excited to reveal my first collab with @bobbibrown! Allow me to introduce my very own Crushed Liquid Lip, Double Crush Edition. Why double crush? This was actually the best part of this collab: I got to do it with my bestie @makeupbydenise! When they asked us to do this collab we knew it was the perfect project to do together. We decided our colors would be complementary: Two nude shades that would work for a variety of complexions, that you can actually mix together for a custom nude shade, too. I created West Coast Bae, a warm milk chocolate-y nude, and Denise created East Coast Slay, a lighter warm nude with a touch of peach. We wanted our friendship to be represented in the names of the shades, since I’m on the west coast and she’s on the east coast! ‍♀️ I can’t wait for you guys to try! Thank you so much for all the support leading up to this launch, you all made us more excited than anything else!!! And if you’re going to be in LA on May 18th, Denise and I will be hosting a meet up at the Sephora in Century City at 4pm, so come hang out with us!! #BobbiBrown #CrushedLipColor #bbpartner

East Coast Slay was created by Denise Sanchez, influencer and makeup artist from Jersey. She describes her shade as ‘this is truly your go-with-anything color’.

When your dream becomes a reality . I woke up this morning & just sat with myself. Taking in every setback & success that has gotten me to exactly where I am. People ask me all the time, what does it take? And my answer is always the same…work your ass off, never stop grinding, growing & most importantly believing in yourself. ❤️ • I am so excited to announce my collaboration with @bobbibrown to create “East Coast Slay” Crushed Liquid Lip Color….which is the perfect peachy, nude that looks like a liquid lip + the feel of a comfortable balm. You can find it at @sephora in-store (ahhhhh!) & online, along with Bobbibrown.com • My sister from another mister @tenipanosian also created her signature shade, a gorg warm chocolate nude, which work perfectly in-sync with each other (just like us). I can’t imagine taking this journey with anyone else. • A huge shoutout to the @bobbibrown team for this amazing opportunity & each and every one of you. None of this would be possible without my social fam. ________________________ #BobbiBrown #CrushedLipColor #bbpartner

The Crushed Liquid Lip Formula wraps lips in the full coverageof a liquid lip, but has that rich emollient moisture of a balm, with a lovely sheen of a gloss, to give lips that plumped-up look that everyone wants.

The four new shades are available now at Bobbi locations, and bobbibrown.co.uk, £19 each.
