NEW suncare from Clarins
Last weekend’s heatwave was wonderful, and it put me right in the holiday mood! Luckily I had some of the new Clarins suncare to use when I was out in the sun.
The new range is packaged beautifully, there is LOADS to choose from and all sorts of amazing formula.
The all new Clarins High Performance Sun Care range, has 10 new protective formulas with only high level SPF 30 and SPF 50+ protection for face and body, and two new After Sun formulas.
The packaging is bright and bold, and totally instagrammable! Let’s look at the products! There are five face products. All of them are SPF30 or SPF50+. Choose from Mineral Sun Care Compact for Face SPF30, Mineral Sun Care Fluid for Face SPF30, Invisible Sun Care Gel-to-Oil for Face SPF30, Dry Touch Sun Care Cream for Face SPF30, and SPF50+
For the body, choose from Sun Care Oil Mist for Body SPF30, Sun Care Lotion Spray for Body SPF50+, Sun Care Gel-to-Oil for Body SPF30, Sun Care Cream for Body SPF30, and SPF50+
And there are two after sun products for face and body – Soothing After Sun Balm for Face and Body and Refreshing After Sun Gel for Face and Body.
It is a blend of the latest technological and botanical advances uncovered by Clarins Laboratories, to protect and preserve the skin. The formula shields the skin from the harmful effects of the sun by protecting its key elements – the epidermis and the dermis, collagen and elastic fibres, and finally, the hydration process. No-one wants a sunscreen that dries the skin out.

The SunFilterComplex protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays. Clarins Laboratories have selected the best organic filters to develop new sun care with SPF 30 and SPF 50+ protection. By absorbing the sun’s rays before they can penetrate the skin, these filters offer double protection against both UVA rays, which can cause photo-ageing, and UVB rays, that cause sunburn.
The SunPlantComplex preserves the skin’s youthful beauty. This 100% plant-based complex has been the trademark of Clarins sun care since its start. Specific cellular protection perfectly complements the filters’ action to help prevent signs of photo-ageing caused by UVA rays and dehydrated skin. The skin’s defences are reinforced, and it is protected from premature ageing.
The latest generation of organic filters is based on six plant extracts – senna, baobab and plane tree help to protect, revitalise and hydrate the skin, whilst olive is employed for its anti-free radicals prospects, pea to prevent elastic fibres from breaking down, and aloe vera for hydration.
Some of the Mineral products contain mineral filters instead.
All of the packaging in the collection has been eco-designed to limit its impact on the environment. Each tube and bottle is made from recycled plastic, and the outer cartons and inserts are printed on paper sourced from sustainably managed forests.
