Benefit Add New Hoola Shades

2 min read

Benefit is extending its popular bronzer powder family by two! From this month you can now get Hoola in two new shades.

The UK’s No.1 Prestige Bronzer now comes in Caramel and Toasted, as well as the Original and Lite.

Caramel is a medium-deep powder bronzer, and Toasted is a deep powder bronzer, making it the darkest of the four Hoolas.

So, the full Hoola line-up now has Hoola, the original, and the perfect bronzer for light to medium skin tones, Hoola Lite, a cool-toned powder for a flush of colour on fair complexions, and Hoola Caramel, the medium deep shade perfect for olive complexions, and Hoola Toasted, a rich, chestnut hue for deep skin tones.

It’s a good move from Benefit, as the brand has been criticised in the past for not having enough shades in its foundation range, Hello Happy.

When it launched last year it came in just 12 shades, which is not a lot in the base market these days. Fenty Beauty, for example, has 40 shades to choose from, and brands like Bobbi Brown and MAC also have huge arrays to suit all skintones.

Hoola was launched way back in 2000 (and I remember writing about it for the newspaper I worked for!)  and Hoola Lite didn’t follow until 2017.  It’s taken another two years, but the darker shades are finally here.

The four shades are available to buy now, £26 each, from Benefit locations, and benefitcosmetics.co.uk
