Caudalie Vinopure Anti-Blemish Collection

Caudalie recently launched a new anti-blemish range – Vinopure, targeted at women who, long after their teenage years, still have issues with the appearance of blemishes, shine and clogged pores on combination to oily skin.

Our skin has never been subject to such harsh conditions, thanks to things like pollution, stress, hormonal changes, and unsuitable cosmetics. All of these contribute to an unsettled and reactive epidermis, and it is estimated that 70 per cent of women experiece blemish issues in adulthood (25+) and up to 87 per cent are affected by the problem daily.

If you have suffered from blemished skin, you will know that self-esteem and confidence can be massively affected. So, with all of this in mind, Caudalie launched Vinopure. It’s a small line of three products, designed as a three-step routine, using naturtal-origins ingredients, with no synthetic fragance, to help porevent and fight the problems combination to oily skin can encounter.

I created Vinopure for all women concerned and affected by skin problems in everyday life. This highly natural skincare routine, uses powerful active ingredients to restore beautiful and balanced skin – Mathilde Thomas, Caudalie

There are super ingredients in the products:

Grape Polyphenols and Purifying Organic Essential Oils: The Caudalie laboratory has developed a new patent based on the unique combination of grape polyphenols and a cocktail of six purifying organic essential oils – lavender, lemongrass, geranium, rosemary, lemon balm and peppermint. These active ingredients work simultaneously to form an effective barrier against theproduction of the P. acne bacteria, responsible for blemishes, and stops the oxidation of sebum, the main cause of pore inflammation and complexion dullness.

Organic Rose Water: Sourced from organic rose fields in the Mediterranean Basin, rose water helps regulate sebum production and brighten the skin.

100% Natural Salicylic Acid: Derived from wintergreen, a plant originating from Asia, salicylic acid is extracted in its pure and natural state. It unclogs and tightens pores whilst refining the skin’s texture.

Step 1 is to PREPARE AND PURIFY, with Clear Skin Purifying Toner (£18). This highly natural formula suitable for sensitive skin gently purifies and prepares the skin for the next stages of your skincare routine. Apply both morning and evening, to the face, neck and décolleté, using a cotton pad.

Added benefit: The lotion contains organic Grape water to moisturise and soothe.

Step 2 is CORRECT AND BALANCE, with Blemish Control Infusion Serum (£29). Ultra-concentrated in natural-origin active ingredients, the serum has an exfoliating-effect and unclogging action to reduce blemishes thanks to the salicylic acid and Caudalie’s new patented complex. Organic rose water controls sebum and limits its oxidation, whilst hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin. Its lightweight gel-like texture melts into the skin leaving it refreshed and balanced. Use morning and evening, on the face after the toner. For better results allow it to absorb for a minute before applying the cream.

Added benefit: The serum can be applied locally to blemishes as a blemish treatment.

Step 3 is MOISTURISE AND MATTIFY, with Shine-control Saviour (£25). Caudalie’s new patent visibly reduces blemishes, the silica powders immediately mattifies the skin while organic rose water and vitamin B3 regulate shine, to restore natural radiance. In addition to the serum, the fluid moisturises the skin and gives it all the comfort it needs. Apply morning and evening, after the serum.

Added benefit: The fluid is the perfect base for make-up.

I don’t have oily or combination skin, so I haven’t tried this range, but I can vouch for Caudalie as and excellent skincare brand from the products I have used.
