Colour Correction with new Erborian CC creme

1 min read

I have mild rosacea and I do suffer from flushing (mainly with heat or alcohol) which is very frustrating. I’m always looking for new correcting products., and this latest one from Korean brand, Erborian, is the latest I’ve tried.

The Erborian CC Red Correct is changes colour on contact with your skin, and adapts to your own skin tone, whilst also soothing the skin and helping the redness.

It’s a CC Creme, enriched with Centella Asiatica. This is a massively popular ingredient in K-Beauty. It’s also known as Gotu Kola or Indian Pennywort, mainly found in shady and damp areas in many different parts of the world, including India, Sri Lanka, China, South Africa, Mexico, amongst others. Centella extract is generally high in skin-benefitting phytochemicals. It’s rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1 and B2, niacin, and carotene, which combine to brighten skin and fight premature aging.

Centella’s high antioxidant level is also of note, and this, combined with its ability to promote collagen production, is what makes Centella a superstar in beauty.

So, this correcting creme not only corrects, it also provides anti-ageing care whilst using it. I have tried it, and although it is difficult to see the colour-change upon application, it does give a radiance to the skin, and it covered up my red patches initially. Not sure anything really minimises the flush, but I shall keep trying to find the perfect product!
