No7 Matte Liquid Lips new shades

Boots No7 has just added three new shades to its Matte Liquid Lips collection – all of them nudes. Nudes are big  news this summer, thanks in no part to the (real life) Duchess of nudes, Meghan Markle.

The new Royal rocks a nude lip, and, whilst I don’t, I can see the appeal. For an easy summer look, the new shades are Freedom, Faith and Victory.

Freedom, pictured left, is a pinky nude. I’m not sure I’d call this a nude to be honest. It’s more of a light plum. But I guess nudes can be pink-toned as well. Faith and Victory are more classic, beige-toned nudes.

The unique formula of each shade delivers a demi-matte finish, meaning that your lips look matte, but remain moisturised and nourished all day long.

For me, it’s not matte enough. I’m not a huge fan of the inbetween, but I get that some people don’t want that full matte commitment.

I tend to go all-in, so a full-on matte wins for me.

If you want a demi-matte look, and one that doesn’t dry, then I can vouch for this.
