Sparkle with Bobbi Brown's new Eyeshadow Sticks
BOBBI BROWN’S Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks now come in a Sparkle formula – and it’s great. This new formula is infused with multi-dimensional pearls that give a ‘prismatic’ finish.
That in turn brings a sparkle effect to the eyes. I’ve been trying the shade, Gilded, a gold colour, and the sparkle is great – but subtle enough not to be overpowering.
The formula is a water-based gel technology with staying power – it doesn’t fade or crease. (Always better with an eyeshadow primer though, remember).
I’d love to try a few more shades to see how pigmented they are, as each specific shade has a custom blend of pearls that enhance the colour pay-off.
One thing that the gel-water-base system – which consists of 40% water – does is give a cooling effect on application. It’s very noticeable, and would be fantastic on a hot summer holiday – so this is one for the summer hols beauty bag!
