Tom Ford Winter Soleil Collection 2017

I always love when the Tom Ford Winter Soleil Collection release drops in my inbox. It’s always so pretty and makes me wish I was heading off for some winter sun.

I am not, however, off to the winter sun. Nor am I really in a position to spend loads of money on this collection, but, if you are a fan, and have the budget, then read on – and there is an interesting brand new product in there this winter.

The Winter Soleil Collection is actually designed to highlight and illuminate the skin throughout the year – give you that gorgeous luminous glow that sometimes disappears a little (or a lot!) in the winter.

The exciting new product in this collection is the Lip Slick (£40). This Limited Edition winter innovation is an oil-based rollerball lip colour, which is designed to give high glossy shine, and a juicy tint of colour. It contains jojoba oil and coconut oil, and comes in four deepened berry shades – Spiked Cherry, Red Nectar, Hibiscus Kiss, and Bitten Berry.

For the skin, the Radiant Moisture Souffle (£70) is a luxurious, rich, whipped cream that instantly reenergises the skin’s appearance. Small golden pearls enhance a natural glow, and your skin feels hydrated, plumped and vibrant with use, apparently.

The Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 (£59) will not be available until a later date, and will come in six shades. If it’s anything like other Tom Ford bases, it will be brilliant – they are very good. It contains ingredients such as energin, caffeine, and noni exract to help skin stimulate its natural repair mechanisms.

Colour-wise, there’s a new Sheer Cheek Duo (£59) in Lavender Lure – a duo of lavender pink blush shades. It provides a light-reflective sheer finish for a resort0-inspired glow. You can use alone or together, wet or dry, depending on whether ou want a soft veil of colour or a big old colour pop!

Finally, the star of the show is the Soleil Eye and Cheek Palette (£98) which comes in a new Limited Edition shade palette, called Violet Argente. It has vibrant colour combinations of illuminating shades, ranging from lavender to rose gold eye shadows, a pink champagne highlighter, and a mauve blush. It is stunning.
