New Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick Shades
Nothing cheers you up better than a new lipstick , right? It’s actually a fact, that in hard times, sales of lippy go up. It’s a fast, easy, and relatively cheap way to update your look, and in the summer, I like to move to a more sheer lipstick when I’m on holiday, during the day at least.
YSL’s Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick is a sheer-ish lippy,and I love them. There are 12 new shades to add to the 18 original colours, and they’re deliciously summery! The four here are Beige Blouse, Rose Rive Gauche, Rose Saharienne, and Rouge Tuxedo.
The thing I love the very most about these lipsticks is the smell – they smell absolutely lovely – like you could eat them. Which I wouldn’t advise.
They’re also just fantastic for the lips, containing six oils as well as pomegranate, macadamia butter, hyaluronic acid and pigments and pearls. All of these things create this lovely bright, moisture rich lipstick, which is great for a matte lippy addict like me – my lips need a moisture surge from time to time!
The YSL packaging is also super-indulgent, which is why buying just a lipstick is a lovely treat, right?
The full range of 12 new shades are across four colour palettes – Day Bloomers, the modern neutrals, Night Birds, the bold and bright, and Weekenders, the playful, poppy pink shades.
The new Day Bloomers shades are Corail A Porter, Baume Midi Minuit, Rose Rive Gauche and Nude Lavalliere. The Night Birds shades are Rouge Tuxedo, Orange Perfecto, Beige Blouse and Smoking Plum, and the Weekenders shades are Rose Saint Germain, Fuchsia Stiletto, Rose Saharienne and Trapeze Pink.
