Clinique's NEW Anti-Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum
Acne is mostly associated with teenagers, or young adults, but the truth is that this skin condition can occur at any time in life. And for many women, hormonal changes at various stages in life are the catalyst. Adult acne is very real.
Clinique’s new Anti-Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum has been specifically developed to treat ‘adult-onset acne’ – and deals with the acne, and other concerns that come with ageing – lines, wrinkles, and more.
“We know many adults suffer from acne, but, unlike adolescents, adult acne consumers are often also concerned with lines, wrinkles and other visible signs of ageing,” says Janet Pardo, Senior Vice President, Global Product Development at Clinique. “These customers may feel hesitant substituting their anti-ageing regime with one specifically for blemishes. They may also fear that their anti-ageing products will cause them to break out.”
Adult-onset acne can leave skin weaker, more dry and feeling clogged, due to an imbalance of oil production and dehydration, coupled with slowed down cell metabolism.
This new product from Clinique aims to gently, yet effectively, hep treat breakouts and blemishes, whilst addressing those lines and wrinkles too.
It does this thanks to a blend of ingredients including Salycilic Acid, a great exfoliant, Laminaria Saccharina Extract to regulate sebum production, Glucosamine for lines and wrinkles, and to help with age spots , and Clary Extract for hormone regulation.
To quell irritation and keep your skin calm and soothed, Clinique have used Evening Primrose for the first time in this range, along with Caffeine.
The serum is fortified with Peptides and Why Protein to help boost collagen and elastin, to deal with those pesky wrinkles, and that old favourite, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration.
