Come Sunday morning, when you’ve lost an hour’s sleep, you will thank me for this post! Introducing Energy Bank from This Works, a lovely range of products guaranteed to give you an instant pick-me up and boost of energy after a bad or good, or shorter than usual, night’s sleep.
I love spring, but this clocks going forward business, meaning we lose an hour’s sleep, can be difficult to cope with! So, I was seeking out some energising beauty products, and I came across this lovely range.
This Works is the brand created by former Vogue Beauty Director, Kathy Phillips, and I do like some of the products – not all of them, but some are really good. This range consists of quite a lot of different prodiucts, all formulated with an uplifting blend of ingredients including orange, bergamot, rosemary, geranium, ylang ylang, patchouli, cedar and sandalwood. 
As part of their on-going commitment to help you look and feel your best, This Works launch Energy Bank, a powerful aromatherapy range designed to maximise the mood-boosting benefits of a good night’s sleep.
Based on an original bath oil blend created by Kathy Phillips in 2004, the new Energy Bank collection promotes a wellbeing boost with instant skincare benefits.

In its modern incarnation Energy Bank enhances daytime wakefulness and helps you get the most out of each day.
The stimulating fragrance blend contains a therapeutic level of essential oils including balancing Geranium, revitalising Rosemary and uplifting Ylang Ylang to boost mental and physical alertness and leave you feeling positive, uplifted and radiant with tangible energy.There are great body products, including Shower Gel and Body Makeover – a lovely body oil.
The range also contains a Tinted Lip Balm, Breathe In – to get a quick shot of the energising fragrance, and a Tinted Sun Flash for your comlexion.
This range is having a complete makeover, and there is one brand new product – the Energy Bank Hand Makeover (£25).
Drawing on the protective strength of Vitamin E, the soothing effect of Comfrey Root and the nourishing action of Shea Butter, this hand product tightens, brightens and hydrates dry, overworked hands quickly.
Blackcurrant Oil, which contains important omega fatty acids, promotes healthier looking skin while Hyaluronic Acid locks in moisture to provide deep and long-lasting hydration.
In addition natural Glycofilm forms a moisturising barrier that acts as a second skin to protect from UV damage and skin ageing.
It addresses the signs of ageing by harnessing the action of Tego-cosmo, a natually-occurring amino acid which improves clarity and reduces the appearance of age spots, while Pepha-tight, a skin-tightening ingredient stimulates Collagen synthesis to plump and prevent sagging skin and wrinkles.
Mineral powders add a final lustre to skin; thanks to complexion blurring properties they improve uneven skin tone and conceal and correct imperfections.
