Smoky Poppy from The Body Shop

The Body Shop launch a new Limited Edition range next month which is really new to me – Smoky Poppy. Don’t think I really thought about the smell of poppies before, have you?

Well, according to The Body Shop it’s the most seductive range they’ve ever released! Laced with the extract of oil-rich poppies, it’s a moisturising treat for your skin. Infused with real, handpicked 2015 poppy flowers from the Ankara region of Turkey. it has a rich, but delicate scent, if that makes sense? it’s hard to explain. Very floral, but with a heady depth to it.

So, there are seven products in this range. The Smoky Poppy Poppy Seed Scrub (£13) is filled with poppy seeds which are great for exfoliation – effective, but gentle. Smoky Poppy Shower Gel (£4) is a rich and black gel, the Body Lotion (£8) leaves skin feeling soft.

I love the Smoky Poppy Bath Bombs (£12 for six) – perfectly fizzing bombs for a seductive bath, and there’s the Massage Oil (£14) for a sensual full-body experience. There is a fragrance, of course – the Smoky Poppy EDT (£8.50) a blend of sultry spices, florals and woody notes. Finally, my other favourite, the rich and creamy Body Butter (£15), a brilliantly decadent product!
