Shimmering Skin from Becca

If you want subtle shimmer rather than full on sparkle this Christmas, then the Becca Holiday 2014 Collection is for you. Just launched into Space NK stores, and QVC, it’s not really much of a collection in just three pieces, but it is just lovely.

The Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights Kit (£20) is brilliant. One of Becca’s hero products, this is the shimmering skin perfector liquid highlighter in three shades, in small sizes, perfect for your handbag. Apply to the eyes and cheekbones for instant glow. The shades are Pearl, Opal and Limited Edition Champagne Gold. Easy to apply, they add the subtlest of shimmer and highlight.

I struggled at first with the sheer golden-ness of the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Champagne Gold (£30). This is a pressed and portable version of the Shimmering Skin Perfector. A little goes a long way! You can highlight cheeks, face, décolleté  – anywhere that needs a touch of radiance, but be warned, you really don’t need a lot. The Champagne Gold pigment provides the shimmer, whilst the liquid hydrators create a crème-like finish that melts into the skin. It’s a lovely product.

Finally, The One Perfecting Brush in Limited Edition Gold (£40). This is the brand’s best-selling beauty multi-tasker, and it’s been given a chic Holiday makeover, with a limited edition gold handle. You can use this for anything you like, say Becca. In fact, they claim it replaces these ten tools in your makeup kit –  foundation, powder, contour, bronzer, stipple, blush, fan, and concealer brushes, kabuki, and sponge. Just keep it clean!

BECCA is the brainchild of Australian makeup artist, Rebecca Morrice Williams. You can’t buy it on the BECCA site at the moment, but you can get a selection of the range at Space NK, and some at QVC – and the Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights Kit is currently £18 on QVC!
