Seascape Natural Beauty

It’s nice to try new brands so I was happy to trial out a couple of products from a brand called SEASCAPE ISLAND APOTHECARY recently. They are a Jersey based company, and the products are full of natural goodness and not full of parabens, silicones SLS,  petroleum, artificial colours and synthetic fragrances.

The packaging is sustainable, and the ingredients are sourced from ethical suppliers. I think what I really love about this brand is the logo – how adorable is the little floral seahorse?

Okay, that’s not what I love most, of course, but he is a really cute design! All the ingredients are sourced from local Jersey producers, including a family lavender farm, who produce lavender, eucalyptus and rosemary, a beekeeper for honey, and of course those famous – and lovely – Jersey cows!

So, the first product I tried was the lovely Uplift Body Wash (£16, for 300ml). I love an uplifting body was in the morning – I am not a morning person, so I need something that will lift me out of my sleepy state. This does just that, subtly. It’s not got the  ‘pow’ of some of the cheaper, more synthetic citrus scented shower gels out there, but it has a gorgeous smell. It contains Jersey Eucalyptus to stimulate the circulation, lime to energise the body and lavender to refresh the senses. It feels really good as well, soft and nourishing to the skin.

The other product I’ve been reviewing is the Soothe Sleep Oil (£10, 8ml). I’m always a bit sceptical about these products. A sleep expert once told me it’s more about the ritual of using the product than the actual product itself. I do believe that, and using this recently I have fallen asleep quite easily! It contains 100% natural essential oil of lavender to relax and calm, as well as the oils from Grape Seed, Sweet Almond, Bitter Orange Flower and Mandarin Orange Peel to balance the mind and deliver a gentle fragrance. It’s perfectly safe for pregnant women too.

There are lots of other products, including body lotions, body scrubs, hand lotions and a men’s range to choose from.

So, if you fancy checking out a new brand, with gorgeous, safe, animal friendly (they don’t ever test on animals) products, and a gorgeous logo, then visit seascapeuk.com
