Festival Survival Beauty!

It’s T in the Park this weekend, and, if you are heading for the last ever T at Balado, before they move to their new home, then here are a few essentials you should take with you.

Warning! This is not a beauty feature about all-in-one makeup products, lovely lipsticks, or festival ready beauty balms (well, okay, except one). This is about a few festival essentials that you might not normally speak about. Yes, deodorants, feminine freshness and anti-bacterial hand gel!

You need these things at a festival!  So make sure you have a few of these packed in with your fringed kimono and floral crown!

1. Sure Compressed Deodorant (£2.19, 75ml, Boots). are little mini deodorants which lasts as long as their larger siblings. Perfect to pop in your pocket at the festival. No-one wants to smell nasty pits in the mosh pit, do they?! It’s the only deodorant to feature unique Motionsense technology which means the antiperspirants react directly to body movement, releasing bursts of freshness throughout the day. Perfect.

2. Cowshed Cow Pat Natural Antibacterial & Moisturising Hand Gel (£7, cowshedonline.com). This little bottle is all you need to keep your hands clean and fresh. You must pop this natural hand gel into your bag!

3. FemFresh Intimate Skincare Feminine Freshness Wipes (£1.50, Boots, Superdrug). Yes, we are talking about intimate freshness wipes. That’s wipes for your lady bits. Please take these with you, and keep things fresh. They come in newly designed packaging, which is cute. They are pH balanced, and they gently cleanse and freshen. We need say no more.

4. Cowshed Wild Cow Perfume Roll-on (£18, cowshedonline.com). Don’t be taking a big bottle of your favourite fragrance! Cowshed have these lovely roll-on perfumes – there’s Wild Cow, Horny Cow, Moody Cow, Grumpy Cow, Knackered Cow, Lazy Cow, Gorgeous Cow – all of them 10ml so perfect to pop in your denim shirts pocket!

5. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant (£26, elizabetharden.co.uk). This wondrous tube of cream has been around for, ooh, years! It was created in the 1930s, and there is still one sold every 30 seconds around the world. One sold every two minutes in the UK! Its effectiveness is attributed to a perfect balance of skin-shielding petrolatum, vitamin E and soothing, anti-inflammatory beta-hydroxy acid  – Eight Hour Cream was one of its first cosmetic uses. It does all of this: Protects skin from sun, wind and minor skin irritations, works as a a lip balm, adds a bit of highlight where you need it, perfect on your legs after shaving, smoothes eyebrows into place, a briliant hand cream and foot cream, excellent in flight moisturisation – or at a festival, in-tent moisturisation! Just try it if you haven’t, you will be amazed!
