Wake up with Garnier Miracle Skin Cream!

I don’t lnow about you but that lost hour of sleep is catching up on me now! I’m shattered, and have never been so delighted it’s Friday! And thankful for a couple of new products from Garnier!

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream and Garnier Miracle Eye Cream launched in February of this year, on the back of extensive research which showed that, after wrinkles, British women feel that tiredness/fatigue is the biggest reason for skin ageing.

Garnier miracle skin cream

So, this Miracle Skin Cream instantly erases the appearance of signs of tiredness and reduces the appearance of signs of ageing over time. It’s a hybrid skincare/makeup product, and although it isn’t called a CC cream, it’s similar to one. It instantly corrects and conceals. It is protected by nine patents across Europe, so there’s a lot of technology in there that the Garnier labs feel protective about.

The anti-ageing element of this product is where it differs from CC creams. In terms of the instant effects, well, it comes out as a white cream, full of wee micro-capsules, invisible to the eye, which are activated on contact with the skin.

So, when you blend it in, colour appears. One shade fits all, as the micro-capsules adapt to your skin tone. Ingredients in this product include Pro-retinol, known to stimulate collagen synthesis, Vitamin C derivative to help with collagen production, Vitamin B3 and ginger extract, providing anti-oxidant action, Vitamin B5 reinforcing the hydrolipidic barrier – helping skin with its own hydration, in other words and SPF20.

There’s a matching eye cream, which is targeted to the skin around the eye area. I really like this Miracle Skin Cream. it has a light coverage, and helps lift and illuminate. I think you could use this under your normal foundation as an added boost to the skin. If you don;’t use foundation, and are a BB or CC fan, like me, then you should be a fan of this too.

It’s certainly helping me feel a little bit more awake this week!
