Rihanna's RiRi Hearts Holiday Collection
Rihanna’s RiRi M.A.C Fall Collection was pretty much sold out in a few weeks, so expect the same thing to happen with her RiRi Hearts Holiday Collection, out just in time for Christmas. Ive had a sneak preview – this is the nail polish in RiRi Woo (£12) – just one coat gives great coverage. I love it, it’s a very festive red, agreed?!
This collection sees the return of RiRi Woo red lipstick (£16.50), alongside two new shades, Pleasure Bomb and Bad Girl RiRi, a bright fuchsia and a taupe, Superslick Liquid Eye Liner (£18.50) in Pisces Persuasion, a shimmery frosted white, and Cockiness, a shimmery frosted rose gold, two Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow palettes (£33) in Phresh Out and 2X Dare, Love, Rihanna Bronzing Powder (£22), the double ended 217/239 Blending Brush (£27) and lovely Makeup bag (£25) to pop it all in!
The packaging this time is white-pearl with RiRi’s rose-gold detailing. It’s lovely, but I do hope M.A.C aren’t just going to be about Rihanna for the forseeable future. I’d like to see a few other collaborations. However, now that Rihanna has also been names as their Viva Glam Ambassador, it’s likely their partnership wtill grow and grow.
Details are minimal so far, it was simply announced on Twitter earlier this month, reading “Welcome to #VIVAGLAM … @Rihanna! Arriving January 2014.” Rihanna joins Ru Paul, the first provocative face of the Viva Glam campaign – who returns this year – as well as fellow influential musicians Mary J Blige, Elton John and Lady Gaga.
The RiRi Hearts Holiday Collection will be available nationwide from December 12, at MAC locations and at macccosmetics.co.uk so make sure you get ready, because it’s bound to disappear fast! If you want to be one step ahead, visit Selfridges, where it will be on sale from December 5
