Stila's CC Cream and the Perfect Complexion

See, it’s all about complexion this season – see my earlier post today – and yes, Stila have a CC Cream in their simple four-part Autumn Complexion Collection – my name, not theirs!

They say there are four simple steps – and four products, some of them new –  to achieving that velvety skin look that is going to be big this season. Think perfect skin, simple makeup.

Their Stay All Day Prime & Anti-Shine Balm (£24.50) is a multi-tasking, magic make-up weapon! Use it as a primer under makeup, or use it over makeup to set and extend wear. It has a cream to powder formula which smoothes, evens skintone, minimises pores and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s really light and easy to use.

The NEW CC Colour Correcting Cream SPF20 (£30) in six shades, and  is a skincare meets makeup hybrid – CC creams like this one correct the colour tones in your complexion, whilst creating a smooth look. This CC Cream also gives revitalizing skincare benefits, and the green-based formula colour corrects upon application to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and brighten the skin.

The Stay All Day Concealer (£15.50) is a full coverage concealer which blends under eyes to disguise dark circles, and hides skin imperfections. I find that a BB or a CC cream work well when teamed with a good concealer, if you like light coverage, but just want that little bit more in places.

And look, Stila have a black version of a sponge much like the Shu Uemura one I wrote about earlier. Their Double Ended Blending Sponge (£10.50) has a rounded end for makeup application all over, and then a pointed tip to get into hard to reach areas, and for precision blending to create the perfect base.
