Leather-look Nails from Rococco

blacknailsI was intrigued recently by a nail polish brand called Rococco, which is available at Space NK stores, and in some spas, and has some of the loveliest packaging I’ve seen.

In a sea of pastels for spring, I’ve actually been embracing my dark side this week with their Unisexy Matte (£12) which is a matte polish.

I have taken a while getting my head around matte nail polish – is nail polish not supposed to shine?!

But this is a perfect black, a lovely matte colour, and is perfect, as the name suggests, for boys and girls!

I only had to use one coat when I first applied it, and it didn’t chip for a day or two at all. Fantastic, if, like me, you aren’t quite embracing the pastel palette of spring yet!
