A new 'La Petite Robe Noire' from Guerlain

2 min read

Last year Guerlain introduced us to La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum  – I wrote this post about that launch on my own blog, Beauty Bombshells. Now, La Petite Robe Noire EDP has a playful little sister – La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette!

It’s a completely different fragrance – the more playful side of her big sister, perhaps?! This dress has a lovely pink ribbon around the waist, and the scent itself is much more fruity and floral than the EDP. I think I already prefer it – it’s less sweet a gorgeous top note mix of roses, jasmine and orange blossom. It has middle notes of cherry, apple and blackcurrant, with an end of white amber, silky musk notes.

The shape of the bottle is the same, but this time the glass is tinged with pretty pink, instead of black, and as I said before, the dress is different – here’s a shot of both bottles on my dressing table. I think they work brilliantly as night and day fragrances – and if you liked the EDP, am pretty sure you will like the EDT just as much.

And these are some of the gorgeous illustrations from the advertising campaign.
