Lancome is In Love with Emma Watson
Wow – she’s not little Hermione Grainger anymore is she? Beautiful Emma Watson fronts the new Lancome SS13 Limited Edition makeup collection, In Love, and looks stunning in the colourful collection.
The collection is full of pop shades drawn from street-art murals and vibrant tones of nature flirting with an urban spirit. The neon glimmer of city signs with the
pastel tones of balcony flowers. That’s what Lancome say. I say it’s very pretty with neon pinks, corals, turquoises and violets, the bold sides of the colour palette, with rose petal pink and almond green offsetting them.
The packaging is lovely, with a Toile de Jouy, reinvented by Lancôme. This renowned cotton fabric created by 18th century artisans in Jouy-en-Josas is famed for its unique design of florals, characters and landscapes.
There are six products in the Limited Edition collection, Baume in Love (£20), a bold pink lip-balm, Blush in Love (£34), a cute little compact with a mix of fuschia and orange blusher, Kohl in Love (£16), which comes in intense turquoise, a light chocolate and a deep blue, Vernis in Love (£12), a lovely nail polish in a peachy shade, Ombre in Love (£19), a wearable pale pink eyeshadow, and Dewy Mist (£22), a lovely skincare primer.
