From Beyonce and her blue nails, to Origins top secret launches, to some gorgeous false lash news – here’s some beauty news to end the week!

*So, what’s the first thing new mum Beyonce thought of? Her nails, of course! Yes, the superstar singer wore Nails Inc Baker Street in homage to her daughter Blue Ivy. Her manicurist Lisa Logan tweeted:Check out Beyonce’s blue nails called Baker Street by Nails Inc. I love this color!’ . I do too, and I love the new Neons and other brights that Nails Inc are launching, along with this, in March. £11, nailsinc.com Watch this space!

*Everyone has jumped on the BBB – that’s Blemish Balm Bandwagon, and the next to do so will be Origins, in April. I love Origins, so can;t wait for that. The other Origins news is also music to my ears – their super anti-ageing serum, Plantscription, will soon be available in a bigger bottle. Hooray!

*I heard some lovely beauty news this week – my friend and uber-fab makeup artist Ana Cruzalegui’s We Are Faux false lash company have signed up a deal with Superdrug. From March you’ll be able to buy the We Are Faux collection there. I blogged about them here last year – look out for more news soon on their brilliant new Spring/Summer collection. Well done Ana!

*And finally, Boots have loads of fragrance offers on men’s and women’s scents for Valentine’s Day, with CK IN2U down from £28 to £21 for example, or Davidoff Cool Water Man for £25.33 instead of £38. Or, how about Jimmy Choo EDT, exclusive to Boots, for £44? Maybe the actual Jimmy Choo’s will have to wait for another year…
