Paul & Joe love Cats!

I love cats! Anything to do with cats. Real cats, cuddly cats, pictures of cats, videos of cats, cat tea towels, cat calendars…yeah, you’ve got the idea!

So, when I saw the new Paul & Joe Spring 2012 collection I had to get a hold of myself, I was that excited! In honour of their 10th Anniversary, the collection is inspired by designer Sophie Albou’s love of cats!

Paul & Joe love cats....Face & Eye Colour and Blusher Stick...

My absolute favourite thing is the Blusher Stick (£21) which is actually cat shaped, with the little kitty wearing a top hat. It comes in three shades, Glamour Puss, Minou (pictured), and Catfight, and to apply you simply draw three ‘whisker lines’ on your cheek and blend evenly. It’s a sort of creamy cheek powder.

The stand out product from the range however, must be the Face & Eye Colour (£19.50) which comes in three variants – Siamese, Please, Kittycat (pictured) and Purr-fect…this gorgeous face and eye colour can be applied to eyes and as blush, but who on earth would ever want to use them?! Embossed with a beautiful cat print, they come in the most lovely of packaging as well.

Other products in the range include Lipstick (£16) in shades of Sex Kitten, Meow! and Catwalk which has little kitty paw prints in the lipstick; Waterproof Gel Eyeliner (£16) to create that perfect cat’s eye flick; Nail Enamels (£10) in Tigress, Kitten Claws and Manekineko; and Matte Pressed Powder (£28) which contains a translucent shade, and a spicy beige shade in the shape of, what else, but a cat!
