A New Angel....

Back in the early Noughties, I was a huge fan of Thierry Mugler’s Angel. It divides opinion like Marmite, and I had to stop wearing it when a close friend got headaches around me!

The iconic scent, in the gorgeous star bottle, which was refillable (eco-friendly ahead of its time!), is a heady mix of exotic fruits, with vanilla chocolate caramel toffee and patchouli. You know when someone is wearing Angel. I still love it, but I don’t wear it anymore.

I progressed to Angel Innocent back in the day, which didn’t give my friend such bad headaches, but that was discontinued a few years ago. Now, I’m getting acquainted with Angel Eau De Toilette, the newest in Mugler’s scent stable.

This lovely scent is much lighter, but still has that ‘Oriental Gourmand’ classic scent. It fuses Bergamot and pink peppercorn with discreet praline and pink fruits, and has a base of cedar and white musk.

It’s a lighter alternative, and Angel lovers should like it. It comes in a Comet shaped bottle, which is, of course, refillable.

Angel EDT Refillable Spray 40ml & 80ml, £46 & £65, available at houseoffraser.co.uk and boots.com
