Tame those locks

I don’t know about you, but I think hair serum is one of the best things ever invented. If you have curly hair like mine, you might be nodding your head in agreement.

So, I’m always happy to try a new serum that claims to end the frizziness and make my hair sleek and shiny.

Of course, the reality is that none of them ever quite achieve that on my barnet which has been over processed and dyed for years.

But, Ojon are a great haircare brand, so it’s no surprise that their new Instant Restorative Hair Serum (£22, johnlewis.com) did give me some shine and frizz control.

It contains the latest Ojon ‘miracle’ ingredient, Rouge Oleifera, extracted from the fruit that surrounds the Ojon nut. Apparently the fruit used to be thrown away when the nut were harvested, before they realised it could be utilised too.

What I like about this serum is you can use it on damp hair before you style, as well as on dry hair as a finishing product.

I couldn’t live without my hair serum – what products are essential to you?
