Beauty Bargain of the Week - Dove Hair Repair

1 min read

We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘  – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!

I’ve been dying my hair for years – sometimes you can really tell! I use a great salon brand shampoo and conditioner, but I really struggle to find a treatment that does what I want, and doesn’t make my hair too lank. I have recently tried this Dove Intensive Repair Overnight Crème, and I have to say, though sceptical at first, it’s really rather good! And, it’s my Beauty Bargain this week, because it’s just £4.99.

Basically you put a couple of pumps on to damp hair, and concentrate on the ends. Now, when they say damp, I’d suggest towards the end of damp, nearly dry – not wet! Don’t go to bed with wet hair!

I also stuck on a hairnet. (You can buy them in Superdrug or maybe the wee chemist round the corner!) This is not a glam treatment, so warn your other half! But it’s worth it. I found my hair was much shinier in the morning. I did sort of want to wash it again, and you can, but I think it’s better if you can just resist and style it.  You should use this treatment once a week to get the best results.
