Beauty Bargain of the Week - Dove Cream Bar
We can all spend a fortune on beauty products, but we don’t need to. Every week, I’m going to bring you my ‘Beauty Bargain of the Week‘ – a product I’ve used, and would recommend, and that, on most occasions, costs less than a fiver! What’s not to like!
Okay, it’s another Dove product this week – but this one has bona-fide celebrity endorsement. Socialite, boho beauty, vintage fan and jewellery designer Nicole Richie no less! According to this week’s NOW magazine – she loves the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar, which retails at … wait for it … 82p! Yep, that’s under £1!
“I use Dove soap to clean my face,” Nicole told NOW. “I know it sounds daft, but I love it.”
Well, I had to have a go, and let’s say I won;t be giving up my cleanser just yet, but it is a lovely bar of soap, and it isn’t drying at all.
It’s the original and classic bar in the Dove range, and is
much gentler on the skin than ordinary soap.
It contains a quarter moisturising cream and is pH neutral, so causes minimal disturbance to the skin’s natural moisture balance.
If you fancy giving it a go, get it at Boots, Superdrug, and most supermarkets and chemists. It also comes in packs of 2, for £1.57, 4 for £2.98 and 6 for £4.48 – the bar is 100g.
