It has been designed to coincide with the anniversary 150 year John Lewis anniversary . The building print was created in the John Lewis Design Studio, and the print features an archive scene of the Oxford Street shop, and is inspired by the use of colour found in designs from the studio of Raymond Loewy, which were commissioned by John Lewis to design prints for the re-opening of  Oxford Street after it was bombed in 1940.
