The gorgeous Guerlain Spa at Edinburgh’s Caledonian Waldorf Astoria is the only one in the UK, and has been crowned Best Luxury Hotel Spa in the UK, so, yeah, this Big Deal is a treat. This Pampering and Prosecco day will cost from £89 per person and includes up to 90 minutes of treatment time, as well as access to the luxury facilities including a relaxation lounge, indoor pool, steam room and sauna and don’t forget that plush robe and flip flops.
There are three deal options – option one is for a 30-minute taster facial and a 30-minute massage for one person. Option two is for one person to either a 30-minute taster facial and a 60-minute massage, or a 60 minute facial and a 30-minute massage. The third option is option two, but for two people!
The facial is a Radiance Facial using gorgeous Guerlain products including a mask, and the massage is the Signature Caledonian Chic, exclusive to this Spa, and is a relaxing and nurturing experience. You will also get a glass of Prosecco to complete your lovely experience.
Portavadie on Loch Fyne offers a haven of tranquillity amongst some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery. And you can enjoy a relaxing day there with this Big Deal for a Spa Experience and a Two-Course Lunch for two. The deal is £69, and, for that, you will get a lovely lunch for two and full use of the leisure facilities. Lunch is a main course, dessert and soft drink – choose between a pizza, a bento box or a superfood salad. Dessert is two scoops of Portavadie’s freshly churned ice-cream.
The Spa is a modern light-filled space which includes a hydro pool, a sauna and steam room plus relaxation space – oh, and Scotland’s largest heated outdoor infinity pool! And everything has the gorgeous view of Loch Fyne. Take the deal Monday to Friday, and if you want to book any treatments in advance, you will get a 10 per cent discount on these.
My final pick is for The Blythswood Spa in Glasgow’s city centre, a beautiful five-star hotel. This luxury spa is just gorgeous, and the Big Deal is for a Facial or a Body Massage. Your choice is between a personalised Murad Facial, or an indulgent La Rue Verte CBD Body Massage – a brand new addition to the spa this year.
The Murad facial is a very personalised therapy designed to target specific skincare and muscle tension issues. It starts with a personalised skin assessment, followed by a deep pore cleansing, exfoliation and steam, then a face, neck and shoulders massage, and finally a serum and mask application.
The La Rue Verte Body Massage is an innovative bespoke therapy that uses CBD oil essence to flush toxins from your system. Incorporating reflexology body mapping, a soothing CBD balm will be targeted at key areas to give you an overall wellbeing boost.
