It’s the end of the month, time to have a look at the Big Deals in beauty on 5pm – treat yourself or someone you love with a treat.
The beauty deals available on 5pm are so diverse – and include some fantastic bargains. A two-hour makeup masterclass for just £19. Yep. A two-treatment spa day at a hotel fit for a President for £69? Yep. A facial and a glass of fizz for just £20? How can this be?!
A hotel fit for a President is, of course, Trump Turnberry. We guess if you owned a hotel, you’d make it pretty smart too. Never mind the owner, this is a beautiful old Scottish landmark hotel with one of the loveliest views across the Irish sea, you will ever see. It’s a gorgeous little corner of Scotland, and the hotel is luxury personified.
This Big Deal has two options – for one or two people. The cost is £69, or £135. You get two 25-minute treatments, and full use of the swimming pool and leisure facilities, as well as a fluffy robe and lovely slippers. You can also add on a two course lunch for £20 per person, which you pay at the spa. The treatments available to choose from are from the ESPA or Ishga ranges, and include Back, neck and shoulder massage, Boutique facial, or Full body salt and oil exfoliation.
Take the views in, and enjoy. It’s available seven days a week until June 30, but there is a £20 per person supplement for Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings.
A quick and lovely treat – and such good value you can buy yourself and your significant other one – is a Facial and Fizz deal at Soul Space in Glasgow. Soul Space is a lovely, award-winning salon on Hyndland Road in Glasgow’s West End.
This deal is for an Express Caudalie D-Vine Facial. Caudalie is a gorgeous, luxury, paraben-free French beauty range, and the D-Vine Facial will give your skin a radiance boost. It takes 25 minutes and you get a lovely glass of fizz too. What’s not to love? Take this deal seven days a week until June 22.
This Big Deal at The Spa at Cameron House on Loch Lomond is an excellent deal for couples. The gorgeous spa has wonderful leisure facilties, including the rooftop infinity pool.
The first two Big Deal offers are the same – one is for use Monday to Friday, the the other Saturday or Sunday. The price is £65, or £95, and for that you get use of the pool, a 25-minute Rasul mud therapy experience, and full use of the facilities. The two hour Thermal Experience includes traditional, classical and Arabian spa facilities such as a caldarium, tepidarium and hammam steam room, alongside modern innovations such as the infra-red sauna, hydro-therapy pool, aromatherapy steam room and experience showers.
The 25-minute Rasul Mud Therapy experience takes place in The Spa’s stylish and distinctive mosaic chamber. The self-applied treatment cleanses and detoxifies the body.
Option three for this deal is £89, and gives you access to the Thermal Spa, and a two-course lunch with tea or coffee (No Rasul in this one). The food is lovely, and menu choices might include the likes of Asian noodle salad, lemon baked salmon fillet, and a selection of ice creams and sorbets.
How about a Facial for £19? What? Yep, that’s how much this Big Deal is for Clinic13 in Glasgow.
Option one is the £19 Microdermabrasion – and it’s brilliant. It uses fine crystals and a vacuum to slough away dead cells. It goes deeper than everyday scrubs and exfoliants, and really helps your complexion. It works well on dry and oily skin, fine lines and weinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damage and scar tissue.
Option two for this deal is for one of three other facials – choose from these:
Alumier Detox or Vitamin Boost Facial – these use premier Alumier products for a customised facial. The Detox Facial improves skin texture and prevents further spots from forming, while the Vitamin Boost Facial uses a dose of vitamin A to even tone and improve skin elasticity
ZO Obagi Stimulator Face Peel – this uses three different acids to exfoliate skin and promote cell turnover. Smooths away fine to moderate lines and wrinkles, acne, age spots, uneven pigmentation and rough skin texture. Strong enough to make a difference, but gentle enough to not cause redness or flaking some other peels can produce.
