Sunny Scents

I’m all about the sunshine at the moment, so here are some sunny scents to see you through the weekend, no matter the weather!

1. Le Couvent des Minimes Botanical Cologne Aqua Mysteri, £65 (100ml), lookfantastic.com, is a fresh and floral scent, in a light lemon yellow colour! Reminiscent, apparently, of strolls through the orange garden of Le Couvent des Minimes, it combines orange blossom with palmarosa, and has a gorgeous, bright, sparkly hit when first applied.

2. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Mist Spray, £18 (100ml), Harvey Nichols. Brazilians naturally use all of their senses to attract – one of their essential beauty secrets is being ‘cheirosa’,  which means to always smell incredibly delicious from sunrise to sundown. So, you’ll be needing this lovely fragrance mist then, inspired by the scent of the brand’s iconic Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, with notes of pistachio and salted caramel. It’s not a heavy scent, so you can spritz it wherever you like – hair, clothes, body, wherever!

3. I wrote at length about the new Marc Jacobs Sunshine scents on another blog post – this one is Daisy Love Sunshine, £57 (50ml), The Perfume Shop, and is a light EDT with notes of bergamot, citrus, and cashmere musk. And look at the delightful bottle!
