SMASHBOX has just launched a load of new eyeshadow palettes – the Cover Shots palettes –  in all sorts of colour combinations and finishes. They’re handbag-sized, and contain an expertly curated mix of six shadows and two double-sized base shades.

Our curated shadow palettes have always been a makeup artist must-have for creating intense eyes. Now, you can build even more bold looks with new palettes in no-fuss neutrals, powdery pastels and major metals -Lori Taylor-Davis, Smashbox Global Pro Lead Artist

Smashbox say: “The shadows’ silky, one-swipe formula delivers intense pigment payoff, superior blendability and a mix of creamy textures and ultra-fierce finishes to inspire endless eye looks.

The face of the brand’s Cover Shots campaign is model and influencer Jasmine Sanders, aka @Golden_Barbie – I’m not sure who that is, but she has a staggering 3.2 million followers. Here’s her Instagram shot below from the US launch in the summer.

The palettes are  Major Metals, Minimalist, Prism, Petal Metal, Punked, Bold Glitter (Limited Edition), Pink + Palms, and Sunlit Yellow and Ultra Violet, which launch in November.

Pink + Palms is a Smashbox stores and exclusive, and one of my two favourites. Inspired by L.A.’s iconic sunsets and palm-tree lined streets, this palette is packed with pink personality, sun-lit gold tones and a little hint of mint. It contains velvety mattes and shades that will create fierce, feminine looks in one swipe.

Sunlit Yellow is also a Smashbox stores and exclusive, is a Gen-Z yellow-inspired palette that will help you create a bit of a notice-me-now look! It contains sunny mattes and metallics, and a muted, moody teal. Love it.

Ultra Violet  – another exclusive to Smashbox stores and online –  is a purple-powered palette. The mix of velvety mattes and sparkly shimmers range from bold pinks to audacious ultra-violets and a daring duo-chrome lilac.

All the palettes are £24, and you will find the non-exclusive ones at Boots stores and
