Who needs a holiday in the sun when we’ve got this weather?! But there’s always time for a wee spa break here in sunny Scotland.
So, here are three fab 5pm Big Deals at three lovely spas in Scotland.
Who needs Marbs when you’ve got Largs. Er, okay, well Turnberry actually, but go with me on this one. Head to Trump Turberry Scotland for this excellent Big Deal, available seven days a week, from July 1st until the end of August. (There is a £20 supplement for weekend days).
This fantastic Spa Day with Prosecco Big Deal is £59 – usually £119, and for that you get a 55 minute spa treatment, a glass of Prosecco, use of the leisure facilities, and it’s a 5-star seafront hotel, don’t forget. You can choose fro, five different indulgent face or body treatments: ESPA intensive facial, Ishga facial, ESPA body massage, ESPA body wrap, Ishga seaweed body wrap.
If you want to try something else whilst at the spa, you’ll get a 25% discount, and you can also add on a two-course lunch for £20 per person.The spa facilities include a 20metre swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and state-of-the-art Technogym Fitness Studio.
If you want to get away from it all, just 20 minutes from Glasgow, then the Big Deal at the Bowfield Hotel & Country Club in Renfrewshire is perfect. Available to use until September 20, it’s just £32, instead of £66. The Aura Health Spa has a 16 metre swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna – and the sauna has huge windows with a countryside view.
By the time you’ve navigated all of this, you will both be feeling peckish, so once refreshed under the monsoon showers, it’s time for afternoon tea which includes a glass of bubbly each, plus a pot of tea or coffee, various finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. If you want to add treatments, they’re extra, and they use ESPA and Ishga products. Choose a Skin Purifying Facial, Full Body Hot Stone Massage, or for guys, an Invigorating Massage or a Seaweed Foot Experience.
The final pick of the Big Deals this week is the Spa Day, Lunch & Fizz at the Dunkeld House Hotel which you can use until the end of July. In a gorgeous part of the country in Perthshire, this hotel – once the summer house of the 7th Duke of Atholl – is beautiful. Pulling up the driveway past the manicured lawns, and slipping into the pool with the countryside outside, it feels like a holiday! For one person the deal is £59, for two it’s £109. It includes a choice of two 25-minute spa treatments, a two-course lunch, a glass of fizz and full use of the leisure facilities.
The treatments available include an express facial, an express back, neck and shoulder massage, a body scrub, and a file and polish on fingers or toes. The product range is Ishga. The spa at Dunkeld House Hotel has recently been refurbished and facilities include a heated indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and a whirlpool spa. The floor to ceiling windows in the spa look out over the Craigvinean Hills.
