Pink Hair Don't Care
Pink hair is having another moment thanks to Kim Kardashian. She went pink for ooh, a couple of days and the world followed suit! She then posted a few days later to say goodbye to the pink, but if you fancy trying it for yourself, there are plenty salons on 5pm Spa and Beauty that might be able to give you the perfect shade.
I had pink hair last year at this time (yep, a whole YEAR before you, KKW!), and it’s definitely a fun look you really should try! Since Kim’s pink hair Insta moment, there has been huge increases of sales in pink hair products – semi-permanent dyes, and spray-in colour.
Superdrug has seen sales of two best-selling pink hair colourants rocket – Pick & Mix UV Pink Hair Colour Spray (£4.99) and Colour Freedom Pink Pizazz (£6.99) rise 40 per cent and four per cent respectively since Kim stepped out with her new look. The fact that temporary hair colour spray which washes out has sold ten times more than the version which washes out over time shows that beauty lovers are perhaps testing the water before taking the full pink plunge.
But, if you want to go full-on pink, then head to a salon and get a colourist to do it for you. This gorgeous bubblegum pink is from Tina Reilly Hair in Partick – check them out on 5pm for their latest offers.
If a full head of pink hair isn’t quite for you, then perhaps a pink balayage? This look is from Bon Vivant in Maryhill. Their 5pm offers start at £25.
This pink pleated look is a bold statement from Glasgow’s Kennedy Hair. Check out their 5pm offers here. A full head tint is from £55 and that includes an Olaplex number two treatment to look after your hair.
Or maybe this colour melt, blending the pink in, is more your thing? This look is from Sculptur Hair Design.
At the moment they have an amazing offer on a colour service (choose from balayage/ombre, full head foils or half head foil) with cut, style and luxury finish, at just £49, down from £165.
Are you ready to think pink?!
