Buxom launches in the UK

2 min read

Be bold, be Buxom! From beauty giants Shiseido, Buxom is the latest stateside beauty brand to try to make an impact over here.

Stocked exclusively in Debenhams, this brand – with a focus on lips – is a beauty brand with attitude – and one that, with their launch into the UK, is now in over 200 retailers worldwide.

We are hugely excited that Buxom is launching exclusively with Debenhams. Specialising in colour, and more specifically the statement lip, Buxom ensures new trends are readily available to our customers – Sara Stern, Beauty Divisional Director of Debenhams.

The products are bright, bold and fun. Musthaves include Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick and Eyeshadow Palettes that have fantastic leopard print packaging and are customizable and refillable. Prices are mid-range – £15 for lip products, and £36 for the eye palettes.

BUXOM Lips

I do love the packaging, which is quirky and fun. The Full-On Lip Polish is plumping and wow, does it tingle! I don’t think I am a huge fan of that, it’s just too tingly! But the lovely chocolate caramel scent and initial taste is sweeeeeet! It comes in an amazing 32 sheer shades.

There’s a Full-On Lip Cream as well – similar to the Lip Polish, but with more coverage, and it comes in 14 shades. The Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick comes in 30 shades, and comes in matte and satin finishes. Finaly, for lips, there’s the Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipstick, which has a ‘soft matte’ finish. Not as matte as I love it, but the 12 shades are great, and the deep purple berry Criminal shade is a fave.

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish

I’ve been trying the mascara – no major issues with it yet. The Buxom Lash Mascara is £16, and comes in Blackest Black, which is, well, very black!

I’ve also had a little try of the Divine Goddess Luminizer (£21) which is brilliant. I love a highlighting product, and this has a sort of refreshing sensation to it, and is in one shade, Venus, suitable for all skintones. It gives lovely luminosity to any foundation or can be worn alone.

All in all, it’s a nice range, with lots to choose from, and worth checking out if you are in Debenhams.
