Clarins Multi-Active Eye

Clarins launched their new Multi-Active Eye treatment earlier this month, but I’ve only just gotten round to trying it out, after getting hooked on Estee Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Eye Gelee!

One plus point for the Clarins product is the name is shorter! Did you know the eye contour area is three to five times finer than the rest of the face? Probably, yes. And we know that because of that, it’s normally where we first show Clarins Multi-Active Eyevisible signs of ageing.

Clarins research has shown that the main concern of women in their 30’s, when it comes to their face,is the eye area.

A hectic lifestyle and lack of sleep can lead to an overproduction of free radicals which attack and wear down the fibroblast, the cell responsible for a youthful eye contour,as well as damaging blood capillaries.

In short, late nights, too long at desks, and too much partying is not good for your skin. Not rocket science!

Thankfully my eye area hasn’t suffered too much despite my years of excess, but when I have a late night, I really feel it in my eyes, particularly with dark circles.

And I am TERRIBLE at remembering to put on eye cream! So, these stick style products are perfect for me, and the cooling tips are the best ever. The cryo-metal tip on this instantly lightens and brightens the eye area.

The refreshing cream-gel texture infused with illuminating pigments, smoothes and optically blurs the look of fine lines to give an immediate smoothing effect.

Ingredients like teasel extract, for revitalising, and fatigue-fighting, as well as Myrothamnus exrtact – a stress-fighting South African plant extract, caffeine and horse chestnut, help to decrease puffiness, and sort out those stressed out contours!

After a terrible night’s sleep last weekend on a blow up mattress – don’t ask – I ws SO happy to have this in my toiletries bag!
