Ah, Bobbi Brown loves her reds. I never thought I would say that. I’ve been in this game so long, I can actually remember when Bobbi Brown had NO red lipsticks. And, apparently, she launched her brand in 1991 because she was sick of reds!
Times change, however, and bold, bright, mostly red, lipstick is back in vogue. Back in 2010, Bobbi launched a red lipstick range – read more about that here – and now she’s starting off 2017 with her Red Hot Collection, which features gorgoeus red lips, and sultry nudes for eyes and cheeks.
Bobbi Brown’s philosophy on red lipstick is one I love – there are no rules. Bold, bright, classic, modern – there is a perfect red for everyone, you just have to find it.
This Red Hot Collection is a modern mix of luxe red lip colours, and nude shadows, with just ahint of pink blush. Perfect to buy for Valentine’s Day in February!
The Luxe Lip Color (£26) formula dramatically boosts moisture levels and rejuvenates lips, and the reds deliver a bolt of colour. Choose from Your Majesty, the deep berry shade pictured here, Flame, the orange red pictured, or six others – Red Velvet, Parisian Red, Russian Doll, Red Berry, Retro Red, and Imperial Red.
The Sultry Nude Eye & Cheek Palette (£48) is the perfect complement to the punchy red lip – and this is just lovely. It’s a two-tiered, gold-crested power couple of a palette, with everything you need to create the perfect shimmering nude eye, and that pink blush, for just a flush on the cheek.
The shades are Champagne Shimmer Wash, Golden Pink Metallic, Champagne Truffle Shimmer Wash, Black Chocolate Eye Shadow, and Nectar Blush.
