Lush Knot Wraps

2 min read

I love these Knot Wraps from Lush. I bought a few last year. They’re a great idea, and you can use them again  – and that’s why Lush reckon they are a great idea for National Re-Gifting Day, which is Thursday, December 15 this year.

National Re-Gifting Day, more of a US than UK thing, is when you re-gift a gift. Now, we don’t suggest handing on any old tat you don’t like, BUT, if someone gave you a lovely gift wrapped in one of these, then wouldn’t you be happy to re-gift it?

These Knot Wraps come in all sorts of designs, with prices from £3.75 right up to £20.

Every year at Christmas, it is estimated that the UK alone uses enough wrapping paper and tape to wrap around the equator nine times.  Which is a lot. But as long as you recycle, you shouldn’t feel too bad, okay?

But, if you want to up your eco-credentials, then these Knot Wraps are for you. Based on the ancient Japanese tradition of Furoshiki (the art of wrapping in fabric), Knot-Wraps can be re-used in dozens of different ways — as a scarf, a hair tie, or as packaging for another beautiful gift.

All Lush Knot-Wraps are made using vintage materials, Organic cotton or Greenspun which is a fabric manufactured from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles, reducing plastic waste which takes hundreds of years to break down.  Last Christmas, 185,022 customers received a Lush Knot-Wrapped gift.

You can learn how to wrap your own knot wrap gift at this link on the Lush website.
