Tom Ford AW16 Runway Beauty. Grooming. Private Blend

2 min read

TOM FORD’s AW16 Runway Collection  –  products for men and women, and a new Private Blend fragrance – has confused me a little bit. It has existing products and new products in it, and it’s just a tiny part of what I believe is to come from Tom Ford this AW, so if I find out more, I will share.

In the meantime, the Runway Collection, and first, some  impossibly gorgeous model images to go with it all!

The AW16 beauty collection features luxurious, elevated neutrals that complement the vision for the season -Tom Ford

Minimal. Fresh-faced. Elegantly groomed to perfection. The AW16 beauty look reveals luxurious and elevated neutrals and an exclusive scent that complement the textures, prints and colors of the AW16 vision. So there you have it. A small, very clever, capsule fragrance and beauty collection with some really interesting pieces.
The AW16 shades for lips and eyes includes a Lip Contour Duo (£39), in a nude pink (it also comes in five other shades), an Eye Color Duo in the slight shimmer of champagne and espresso and a wash of Cheek Color (£48) in Love Lust.

The AW16 Runway Look for Men is groomed, polished and essential. Brow Gelcomb (£32) gives a universally flattering tint, setting brows into place as Bronzing Gel (£35) provides a natural-looking glow to the skin. Lip Balm (£18) infuses lips with emollient moisture.

And then there’s the Private Blend Ombre Leather 16. Obviously Limited Edition, this is the first time TF have klaunched a scent directly inspired by the Runway show.

Ombré Leather 16 is an extremely textural scent that imprints you with a tactile sensuality. It makes one feel different, beautiful and desired,” says Mr Ford. I have not had the pleasure of a whiff of this yet, but I am sure it is as delightful and delectable as all the others.

As ever it comes in two sizes, 50ml, and then that amazing 250ml decanter! (Priced at £148 and £345 respectively)

How I wish I could live in a cupboard of Tom Ford Private Blend. My favourites, Lavender Palm, and Patchouli Absolu are coming to an end, and I am seriously mourning the loss!

Tom Ford is available at Private Blend counters, in Scotland in Fraser’s and Harvey Nichols
