PURE Spa have launched a skincare range, so you can, effectively, take the spa home with you. The range, which has recently launched in to the PURE Spas in Scotland’s cities, and is also available online. It consists of five products to begin with, concentrating on facial skincare, and is predominantly oil-based.

After years of planning, intensive research and development, it’s thrilling to see my vision of PURE Spa & Beauty Skin Care come to life,” says Becky Woodhouse, CEO of PURE Spa & Beauty. Using our team’s expertise we have formulated skincare products with efficacious ingredients to design a line of products that inspire radiance and confidence. We have created our own range of face and body products which will be used in our spa treatments and our clients will be able to purchase them.

PURE Spa launch skincare range

The PURE Spa range is made in the UK, 100% active with pure plant oils, antioxidant vitamins and diluting agents. The introductory range of five products use active ingredients like Vitamin E, Retintyl, Jukui Nut Oil, and Omega 3,6,7 and 9.

I’ve had a good ‘play’ with the products, and I like them, mainly because I love an oil-based product. The PURE Hydrate & Renew Face Oil with Frankincense & Rose (£32) for dry/normal/sensitive skin refreshes and revives, as well as moisturising. The smell is delicious, and the oil is light, and feels so on the face. It contains Omega 6+9 for repairing and rejuvenating, and Frankincense to regenerate.

The other face oil is the PURE Regulate & Clear Face Oil with Ylang Ylang and Kukui Oil, and is for oily/combination/blemished skin. I haven’t used this, as my skin doesn’t need it, but if yours does then Omega 3+6+9 will heal and rejuvenate, and Ylang Ylang will naturally balance the production of sebum. It also smells delicious.

I love an oil cleanser, and this one, with Neroli and Jojoba, the PURE Clean & Glow Cleansing Oil (£22) is great. It takes off makeup easily, it doesn’t irritate, it smells beautiful (that’s the neroli) and it cleanses well and leaves the skin feeling smooth and nourished.  You just apply to damp skin, work it in, and then remove with a PURE Spa facecloth.

PURE Spa skincare cleansing oil

The PURE Regenerate & Boost Eye Serum with Retinol & Argan Oil (£34.50) is interesting. It’s an aromatic blend of antioxidant active ingredients and anti-ageing ingredients, such as retinol, and is designed to plump and renew, and revitalise the eye area. I am so neglectful of that area, and I really need to pay more attention to it. So, I will definitely be adding this to my daily regime. You just need a few drops, and you should use both day and night for best results.

PURE Spa skincare face spritz

Finally, there’s the PURE Refresh & Revive Face Spritz with Lavender, Peppermint and Aloe (£14.50). I am not a massive fan of this. I like the idea of it, spritzing it on after cleansing, but I am just not loving the mint fragrance. It’s a personal thing, and it’s not the first facial spray with mint in it that I have recently tried. I just find it too much that near to my nose, and more suited to my feet! It is alcohol-free, and will leave your skin cool and fresh, if you can stand the smell!
