Nashi Blossom by Jo Malone London

JO MALONE LONDON launch a new Limited Edition cologne in May – and the packaging is just lovely! Maybe even nicer than the fragrance itself!

Nashi Blossom is the latest Jo Malone cologne that will be on counter for a limited time. The lovely bottle, with monochrome dots, and a green cap, inspired by the nashi flower, houses a fresh, spring scent, created by Master Perfumer, Fabrice Pellegrin.

I had absolutely no idea what a Nashi Blossom is, but apparently it turns into a Nashi fruit, which has the sweetness of a pear with a crisp bite of apple – and is commonly known as an Asian Pear.

This fragance has the nashi blossom note at its heart, and a bright zesty top note of lemon, with white musk at the base. It’s a pretty simple scent to be honest, and it doesn’t do a lot for me.

However, it is pleasant, and for Jo Malone aficionados it will be a welcome addition to their Limited Edition collections. As ever with JML scents, fragrance combining works well. Try this one with Nectarine Blossom & Honey for a more fruity floral, or war over Dark Amber & Ginger Lily for a woody floral fragrance.

Available in two sizes – 30ml, and 100ml, priced £44 and £89 respectively, it’s available at Jo Malone stores and locations from May, and at jomalone.co.uk – the social media hashtag for this one is #petalpop
